Job Summary:

The position will be responsible for directing the parts and service departments for an assigned territory and will be responsible for the overall profitability with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.


  • Primary focus Parts Sales, Service Sales, Customer Loyalty and PINs.

  • Lead, direct and manage parts and service departments driving revenue, profitability and customer loyalty.

  • Support and drive safety programs/results at each store.

  • Communicate regularly with Regional Sales Manager to drive synergies between product support and sales to maintain customer focus and enhance internal communication between areas.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years previous sales experience required.

  • Minimum of 3 years previous management experience required.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new processes and work under tight deadlines.

  • Candidate must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (advanced skills in Excel are highly recommended).

  • Familiarity with Saleslink, DBS, BMTS and CODA is preferred.

  • Advanced ability to set business goals and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to appropriately balance priorities and deadlines.

  • Effectively communicate with customers, Caterpillar, different internal departments and employees at all levels. Strong problem solving/resolution skills required. Experience in developing strong relationships with customers and handling customer issues effectively.

  • Proven experience with selling product support offerings and growing customer sales.

  • Ability to interpret, manage and utilize a financial statement. Strong business acumen required.

  • Travel to various assigned stores as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
